high speed train station is just a couple
of blocks walking distance away. You could

Brodie Brazil, Sharks Game Live Reporter
is a proud graduate of our SJSU Radio & TV
Journalism program.
You can see him conducting player interviews
during the
playoff games! Here is Brodie's station bio:
Brodie Brazil
joined Comcast SportsNet Bay Area in
March 2009 and is a contributor to
SportsNet Central both on-air and behind
the lens as a field producer and
editor. He was at KICU-Channel 36 in
San Jose from 2001-2007. While at KICU,
Brazil hosted, produced, and edited the
Oakland A's pregame show, A's on Deck.
He anchored the weekly High School
Sports Focus program and reported,
edited and produced other programming
including broadcasts for the Golden
State Warriors, Oakland Raiders and San
Jose Sharks. During his time at KICU,
Brazil received several broadcasting
accolades, including three Northern
California Emmy Awards (two in 2007, one
in 2005) and a total of 12 Emmy
nominations. A native of Castro Valley,
CA, Brazil attended Castro Valley High
School and played baseball and
basketball. He is a graduate of San
Jose State University with a degree in
broadcasting journalism. He resides in
San Francisco, CA and his namesake is
former San Francisco 49ers quarterback
John Brodie.

Henry Wofford, Anchor and Sports Reporter
is a proud graduate of our SJSU Radio & TV
Journalism program.
He earned a masters degree back in the mid
1990s.
Henry anchors periodically their evening
sportscast.

Henry, when he was an SJSU grad student, with his son!
Born and raised in Stockton, CA, Wofford’s journey home has taken him from WTHR (NBC) in Indianapolis as a sports anchor/reporter for the last five years and WZZM (ABC) in Grand Rapids, MI as a sports director and anchor from 2003-2005. His other sports anchor experience includes KOLO (ABC) in Reno, NV from 2000-2002, as well as his radio work, which includes KLIV 1590 in San Jose, CA as an anchor and writer and KSJS 90.5, San Jose State University’s campus radio station, as a news director, anchor, and sports announcer. Wofford’s broadcasting accolades includes the Society of Professional Journalists first place awards in sports reporting in and in-depth reporting in 2008, and Michigan Associated Press awards for Best Sportscast and Best Reporter for a feature entitled "13 On Your Sidelines," in 2003.
A graduate of Stockton’s Edison High School, Wofford received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Davis, and a Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from San Jose State University.
He is a member of the National Black Journalists Association and the Radio Television News Directors Association.
Wofford and his wife Yasmin are the parents of two children, Emet and Cyrus.
