pm!
Broadcast Journalism student Justin Allegri will
premiere his incredible documentary which offers an extraordinary
up-close and behind-the-scenes look at the planning and travels in 2009 of ten
journalism school students
who took a national "Education on Wheels" road trip to the Inauguration of
President Barack Obama
through the landmarks of the Civil Rights movement in the South.

Justin is now famous on the internet for this great photo, with News Anchor
Kyra
Phillips,
which was taken
when they first met at CNN Headquarter in Atlanta. He worked very long hours,
sometimes with only three hours sleep, shooting and editing video and writing
broadcast stories.
Ms. Phillips was instrumental in getting CNN executives to work with our
students to develop and
broadcast updates on their travels. Daily students interacted with network
producers by telephone,
had their story ideas critiqued and approved, then produced videos, photos, and
live news reports
which were shown on both the national and international networks of CNN.

Ms. Phillips is flying into San Jose this Wednesday evening to
join us!!!
She's looking forward to reuniting with all the Inauguration Trip participants
and organizers,
and she wants to meet more of our SJSU advertising, journalism and public
relations students!
Learn more about that amazing "Education on Wheels" cross-country trip
