Friday,
May 14th: California
governor announced
changes he now wants in state funding.
See
details:
How much money he actually wants to spend: Governor's
Revised
Budget: 2010 - 2011 NOTE:
This summer the CA
legislature will review this revised budget
then offer its own final version for the governor's final approval.
The governor's revision offers a little more money for the statewide
CSU system...but Sacramento lawmakers could add more, cut more
or leave funding the same as this year. No decision is expected
before July 1st when a new budget is required by state law.
CA lawmakers, however, are known for extending this deadline
when they want more time to negotiate.
