NEW VIDEO ASSIGNMENT
Upload to i-report by Wed., March 4th, Noon

President Obama lifts media ban on showing
U.S. military coffins from Iraq, with family consent.

GET THE STORY, DO SOME RESEARCH, GET
 LOCAL MILITARY CONTACT REACTIONS...
INTERVIEW 2 SOURCES ON CAMERA...
INCLUDE THEM IN YOUR 90 SEC. VIDEO REPORT.

THINK WEST - Our 2nd focused video report by Spring, J163 Students

Find news reports and understand the story.

Do some research of your own, get more facts
about this.

Find some unique local military family or
source and viewpoints. Really look for someone or a group to contact that might really
offer a new, creative or fresh perspective on how they feel about the change.

After you collect this info, develop your video report...find an appropriate
location to shoot your standup...identify two good sources to interview
about this topic...record short interviews and include them in this report.

You will be graded on the factual support you include
and how you tell the story using the two soundbites
which are required this time.

When you upload to our class i-reports page,
TITLE:
 YOUR NAME
MILITARY COFFINS/MEDIA.

End with our standard out cue:
