I am pleased to announce that I will be attending this event in Boston thanks to some support from the library. I was just wondering if any of you might also be going, or if you know anyone who is. I'd be interested in networking with some other Bay Area folks. There is an outstanding lineup of speakers - check it out:

Lately I have had a rash of faculty travel authorizations that have come in after the travel has been completed. Please faculty get them to chairs/directors in enough time before the trip that they can get their signatures, plus mine and the Provost. I don't mind one once in a while, but ... Thanks for your help with this. Charlie Bullock
