one area or expertise. But due to the economic
downturn issues,
many are being laid off and forced to make a total
career change
for a variety of reasons. Some people also decide,
after a number of years doing one job that they want
try
a new career later in life.

COMPOSITION STYLE WRITING WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED
FOR EXTRA CREDIT. Story Format & Requirements:
Half inch margins on all sides...double spaced.
Two pages maximum.
Word DOC format only!
Must have general public interest focus!
E-mail extra credit story to Professor Rucker
by Monday evening, April 5th no later than 6pm.
Late submissions will be deleted
without review.
Every
story NEEDS hard data, facts or figures,
as well as expert or quality source
comments, to enhance the
substance and perspective in ALL news
stories. Without it, general or generic
references make info in your stories sound
like gossip.
Journalists, in all fields, should NEVER
allow this to happen!
