Steer the ship of my life,
good Lord, to your quiet harbour, where I can
be safe from the storms of sin and conflict. Show me the
course I should take. Renew in me the gift of
discernment, so that I can always see the right
direction in which I should go. And give me the strength
and the courage to choose the right course, even when
the sea is rough and the waves are high, knowing that
through enduring hardship and danger in your name we
shall find comfort and peace.

God is our hope and strength, a very present help in
trouble.
Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be moved,
and though the hills be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof rage and swell,
and though the mountains shake at the tempest of the same.
There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of
God,
the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.

HaShem answer thee in the day
of trouble; the name of the
God of Jacob set thee up on high;
Send forth thy help from the sanctuary, and support thee
out of Zion.
We will shout for joy in thy victory, and in the name of
our God we
will set up our standards; HaShem fulfill all thy
petitions.
Now know I that HaShem saveth His anointed; He will
answer him
from His holy heaven with the mighty acts of His saving
right hand.

Assailed by afflictions, we
discover Dharma
And find the way to liberation. Thank you, evil forces!
When sorrows invade the mind, we discover Dharma
And find lasting happiness. Thank you, sorrows!
Through harm caused by spirits we discover Dharma
And find fearlessness. Thank you, ghosts and demons!
Through people's hate we discover Dharma
And find benefits and happiness. Thank you, those who
hate us!
Through cruel adversity, we discover Dharma
And find the unchanging way. Thank you, adversity!
Through being impelled to by others, we discover Dharma
And find the essential meaning. Thank you, all who drive
us on!
We dedicate our merit to you all, to repay your
kindness.

O God, you are my Lord. There
is none worthy of worship except You. I rely upon You,
and You are the Great Lord of the Throne. Whatever God
wills happens, and whatever He does not will does not
happen. There is no power or strength except by God. I
know that God is able to do anything, and that God knows
all. O God I seek refuge in You from the evil in myself
and every creature that You have given power over us.
Verily my Lord is on the straight path.

Give us strength and fortitude
to ride the tides of change, and empower us always to be
nurturing and loving with one another. Open our
spiritual eyes that we may see one another for who we
truly are... and love one other in the same spirit.
May sadness, disappointment and anger be minimal; may
happiness, positive thoughts and good experiences
together be bountiful. May we always cope, and hope,
with each other... with grace.

O Great Spirit, whose voice we
hear in the winds
and whose breath gives lifeto all the world, hear us.
We are small and weak. We come to you to find strength
and
wisdom. Let us walk in beauty and make our eyes
ever behold the sunset.
Make our hands respect the things you have made
and our ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make us wise so that we may understand
the things you have taught our relatives. Let us learn
the lessons
you have hidden in every leaf and rock.
We seek strength, not to be greater than our brothers
and
sisters, but to fight our greatest enemy-ourselves.
Make us always ready to come to you with clean hands and
straight eyes. So when life fades, as the fading sunset
our spirit may
come to you without shame.

I look to Thee in every need,
and never look in vain;
I feel Thy strong and tender love, and all is well
again.
The thought of Thee is mightier far than sin and pain
and sorrow are.
Discouraged in the work of life, disheartened by its
load,
Shamed by its failures or its fears, I sink beside the
road.
But let me only think of Thee and then new heart springs
up in me.
Thy calmness bends serene above, my restlessness to
still;
Around me flows Thy quickening life, to nerve my
faltering will.
Thy presence fills my solitude, Thy providence turns all
to good.
Enfolded deep in Thy dear love, held in Thy law, I
stand;
Thy hand in all things I behold, and all things in Thy
hand.
Thou leadest me by unsought ways, and turn my mourning
into praise.

God of the seasons, there is a
time for everything; there is a time for dying and a
time for rising. We need courage to enter into the
transformation process.
God of autumn, the trees are saying goodbye to their
green,
letting go of what has been. We, too, have our moments
of surrender, with all their insecurity and risk.
Help us to let go when we need to do so.
God of fallen leaves lying in colored patterns on the
ground, our lives have their own patterns. As we see the
patterns of our own growth,
may we learn from them.
God of misty days and harvest moon nights, there is
always the dimension of mystery and wonder in our lives.
We always need to recognize your power-filled presence.
May we gain strength from this.
God of harvest wagons and fields of ripened grain, many
gifts of
growth lie within the season of our surrender. We must
wait for
harvest in faith and hope. Grant us patience when we do
not see
the blessings.
God of geese going south for another season, your wisdom
enables us to know what needs to be left behind and what
needs
to be carried into the future. We yearn for insight and
vision.
God of flowers touched with frost and windows wearing
white designs, may your love keep our hearts from
growing cold in the empty seasons.
God of life, you believe in us, you enrich us, you
entrust us with the freedom to choose life. For all
this, we are grateful.

Bless, O God,
all who struggle with cancer.
Empower them with hope
for each and every day.
Provide them with loving
and tender care, laughter,
and the support of love.
Grant them
courage when they are afraid,
comfort when they are in pain,
and your blessing
when all else seems hopeless,
that in their fight with illness
they may continue to praise you
and glorify your name.
Amen.

Padre Nuestro
Our Father
The Lord’s Prayer
|
Padre nuestro,
que estás en el cielo.
Santificado sea tu nombre.
Venga tu reino.
Oración a
Jesús Crucificado
Prayer to the crucified Jesus
voy considerando tus cinco llagas, comenzando
Credo
The
Apostles’ Creed
Creo en Dios, Padre todopoderoso,
creador del Cielo y de la Tierra.
Creo en Jesucristo su único Hijo, Nuestro Señor,
que fue concebido por obra y garcia del Espíritu Santo;
nació de Santa María Virgen;
padeció bajo el poder de Poncio Pilato;
fue crucificado, muerto y sepultado;
descendió a los infiernos;
al tercer día resucitó de entre los muertos;
subió a los cielos y está a la diestra de Dios Padre;
Magnificat
Proclama mi alma la grandeza del Señor,
se alegra mi espíritu en Dios, mi salvador;

Act of Contrition
Dios mío, me pesa de todo corazón
haberte ofendido,

hacer penitencia, no volver a
