Scoot!
Magazine
is a bi-monthly counter culture magazine that
offers news and reviews
of scooter-related
topics. Scoot! was founded in 1997 and is
Americas #1 Scooter Magazine.
Scoot! is a small
owner-operated publication whose motto is “A
scooter magazine
for scooterist by scooterist”.
Typical intern responsibilities include:
brainstorming and writing articles; verifying
the accuracy of articles accepted for
publication; and assisting the editor with photo
selection, proofreading and
article research.
There will also be some light office duties.
Learn the magazine business with us, from
editorial concept and implementation to design
layout and distribution. You will be a part
of the entire process of a growing magazine and
will report directly
to Managing Editor.
This Internship will meet your graduation
requirements. We will make
a schedule to fit your needs so you can work and
go to school with minimum impact. Use
our
office or work from home, as long as you
can make our meetings which usually occur on
Wednesday or
Thursday nights at 8pm. Scooter or motorcycle
enthusiast/riders encouraged.
Position is open
immediately.
Internship is a
paid position we offer tuition reimbursement.
Past Scoot! interns have gotten jobs at Scoot!,
MotorTrend and Bay Area Daily News Group.
